I am a Mindful VC (Mindful Venture Capitalist). I have been since 2018. I am also a daughter, sister, sister in-law, friend, behavior designer, good reader, symbolic systems scientist, and energy, environment, and music therapy lover.
I welcome the opportunity to talk with those passionate about applying Behavior Design to Disruptive Innovations and Sustainable Technologies, Behavior Change (including Therapeutics), Human-Computer Interaction, Venture and Activist Investing, and Global Capital Markets.
My interests outside of that include symbolic systems (philosophy, psychology, computer science, and linguistics), Behavior Design, economics, behavioral neuroscience, experimentation, sustainable systems design, value investing, asset bubbles, volatility analysis and trading, programming, history, internet, startups, and alternative investments. I will simplify these further at some point when I have more time. Tldr: Minds, Machines, Methods, Models, Metrics, Mechanisms, Physics, Economics, Behavior, Health, Earth and Ocean Sciences, and Energy and the Environment.
To get on my radar, join the Mindful VC ecosystem or get involved at Stanford. I will eventually read through every submission personally, but in general I prioritize based on who the introducer is, what market you are solving a problem in, and how this aligns with a large-scale thesis I am looking to invest in for the long-term, typically accessible solutions with high potential to improve the quality of life for billions without mass negative externalities.
I care about creating positive, progressive, and principled environments that help people help themselves (change the way they work, live, and play) and help people be successful as they evolve over time.
I define successful as being able to improve one's standard of living mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually without increasing negative externalities on a macroeconomic scale. I.e., The metrics that I use to define success here are how much has population health and human performance improved beyond microcommunities.
I am committed to building the largest, legitimate actionable positive behavior change dataset in the world. I aspire to help others practice mindful concept design when creating new technologies and help them facilitate positive behavior change at scale with their societal contributions.
The below images (Bitmojis) are how I perceive myself practicing life. If you see me operating outside of these ways, or believe you have a better solution about how I can invest my time, please reach out. I love learning what questions you have and look forward to hearing from you. And, if you see a mistake, please let me know.
